Bill Clinton?s eco-minded speech covers the topics of oil and the increase of climate change. The former U.S President, since leaving office, took on some major goals and made it his mission to educate and inform the public as a whole. One of the key notes of importance in his keynote that is truly thought provoking is definitely his mention that these issues and his speech on them will not make the mainstream news, unless he says something ?outrageous.? While he throws in a good-natured joke on how this would upset the Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton), the point remains that the general public isn?t looking into these problems that are inevitably going to affect them.
The calm, cool and collected manner with which President Clinton addresses these ecological issues is a true testament to his abilities and his impressive composure in addressing politically charged issues at the 2012 Energy Innovation Summit hosted by ARPA-E in Washington, D.C.
